Sweet Potato Wedges

These are a delicious way to utilize this weeks star ingredient…


  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp chopped thyme leaves
  • 2 tbsp chopped rosemary leaves
  • 1 tbsp garlic paste (or 3 cloves of garlic)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 1/4 kg sweet potatoes (cut into wedges)


  1. Heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  2. Add the spices, herbs, garlic and salt and pepper to a large bowl
  3. Then, add  the lemon juice and olive oil
  4. Add the potatoes and toss everything together
  5. Arrange the wedges skin side down on 2 baking trays and bake for around 30 – 40 minutes or until the wedges are soft inside and crisp on the outside…
