Mango Kulfi

Mango Kulfi is a frozen creamy milk based dessert. As today is the colourful Indian festival of Holi, what a better way to celebrate than this luxurious dessert… Don’t forget that this is also utilising our ingredient of the week!!


  • 1 can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup of mango pulp
  • 1/2 cup of double cream
  • 12-15 blanched and shredded almonds
  • 8 kulfi/ ice lolly molds
  • A few strands of saffron


  1. Mix together the condensed milk, cream and mango pulp
  2. Beat to blend well, add the nuts and saffron, saving a few of the almonds as a garnish
  3. Mix together well, and pour into the moulds
  4. Freeze overnight
  5. To serve: Garnish with the leftover almonds and some crushed pistachios…
